Bindery Helper

Modern Litho – Jefferson City is hiring for a Bindery Helper. This is a full-time position eligible for a full benefit package. Working hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Perform all finishing tasks involved in the production of printed products. This includes collating, stitching, punching, coiling, cutting, gluing and packing. Employee may be required to operate small bindery equipment. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Must follow the written instructions on the job ticket to meet the customer’s requirements and production deadlines. Employee may be requested to work overtime. Must enter data into a designated computer program to record time and materials.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be quality minded. Must be able to read and understand a job ticket. Must have a good work and attendance record. Must possess basic computer operation skills. Job involves a variety of problems to be solved using general guidelines and calls for a limited number of decisions, most of which are subject to approval by a supervisor. Must take reasonable care of company property and equipment. Must maintain operation of machines, which may include cleaning, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
