2021 Postal Rate Changes: A Quick Guide
2021 Postal rate changes will take effect on January 24, 2021. Overall changes show an increase of 1.5 – 1.8%. Some of the highlights include:
- No change in First-Class Mail Forever stamp. It will remain at 55 cents.
- Presorted additional once will increase from 15 cents to 20 cents.
- Marketing mail letters and flats will have slight increases.
- Non-profit mail letters and flats will have slight increases.
Despite the 2021 postal rate changes, the USPS continues to be an affordable option for bulk mailing and distribution of printed materials in the United States. Modern Litho mails more than 1.3 million pieces of mail per month on average from its headquarter facility. A postal employee is assigned to work on-site to verify mailings and process them for direct delivery to the sectional sort facility. For more USPS resources, see our USPS Updates blog.
