Marketing Manager (Jefferson City, MO)

Modern Litho – Jefferson City is hiring for a Marketing Manager.


The Marketing Manager is a full-time salaried position within the Marketing Department and actively contributes to promoting the mission, vision, reputation, brand, products, and services of Modern Litho, both internally and externally. This role also provides direct support to the sales team, performs on-going administrative marketing functions, as well as develops and delivers marketing and analytical reports as requested by the VP Marketing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: print and marketing asset management, marketing campaign management, database management, email marketing, social media management and basic website administration. The person in the role will work with a wide range of marketing platforms that include print, digital, social, audio, video, photography, web, and exhibit. This position relies heavily on the “hands-on” experience of the successful candidate, as well as sound judgment and ability to interpret, understand, and strategize to meet corporate and departmental goals.

Required Technical Skills

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are required
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and database management
  • Ability to travel within the state

Required Professional Skills

  • 3 -5 years of experience in the fields of marketing, communication, public relations, customer service or related field
  • Ability to present yourself in a professional manner in a professional setting
  • Knowledge of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Proven ability to develop effective and positive relationships and collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Must be able to adhere to tight deadlines and prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with high attention to details

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, social media administration and basic website administration
  • Ability to provide, edit and supplement existing digital assets with professional-level photography for corporate events and general marketing use including headshots and product photography
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Ability to provide graphic design of print and digital assets including, but not limited to social media and website banners, graphics and images, corporate collateral, direct mail, wide format, calendars, invitations, posters, brochures, displays, booklets, flyers and signage
  • Experience managing branding for a business or organization
  • Proficiency in file management, processes and workflows using Microsoft 365 Suite specifically SharePoint
  • Ideally, this position requires a person who is analytical, curious, creative, detail-oriented and self-starting


At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in graphic design/arts, creative media, marketing, communications studies, advertising, business, or a related major is strongly preferred

Schedule: 8 – 5 pm, Monday through Friday

Accountability: This position will report to the VP of Marketing

Compensation: $42,000 – $55,000 annual salary + benefits

Location: Modern Litho headquarter facility—Jefferson City, Missouri
