Account Executive (Jefferson City & Remote Opportunities)
Modern Litho is hiring for multiple Account Executives to join our growing Sales and Marketing team! These are full-time positions eligible for a full benefit package. Location is Jefferson City, Mo –or– remote/telecommute. An Account Executive is responsible for growing and meeting sales and revenue goals by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with nationally-based clients who are seeking commercial print, digital print, direct mail, and/or large format capabilities and services or print marketing partner/vendor.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for prospecting, penetrating, selling, and managing existing, new, and undersold accounts, hitting sales quotas
Works closely with the management team to strengthen and grow Modern Litho’s position in a given assignment
Drives consistent sales activity, pipeline growth, and quota attainment, managing and tracking deal information through the company CRM system
Maintains a full pipeline of qualified opportunities at various stages of the sales process
Develops and grows assigned territory while achieving all targeted revenue goals through self-owned account development
Prospects to find and cultivate the proper customer target base
Meets/exceeds yearly budget and key benchmarks
Participates in self-directed/initiatiated continued learning of all products, services and solutions within the company’s portfolio
Maintains a consultative and relational approach, knowledge or basic understanding of marketing and communication business/organization practices

Must have a proven track record of closing significant new business directly and consistently
Strong communication level within all facets of delivering a message, excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, to include networking cold calling, group/individual presentations, and contract negotiations
Ability to develop effective relationships internally and externally
Ability to work independently with little or no instruction and an ability to work in a team setting
Must be a positive self-motivator who can manage and prioritize time well
Work well under pressure, as well as with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to write coherent and professional e-mail correspondence
Ability to create product estimates
Experience in the printing industry a plus, and if not, eager to learn
College Degree preferred, but not required. On the job training available for the right candidate
Salary starting at: $45,000 – $85,000 plus incentives
